Show BRiOGE MOUNTAIN CAMP HAS MUSICAL, PROGRAM SPRING DALE, Utah, Nov. 10 Chaplain D, J. Henry brought a" fine musical program to Bridge Mountain cimp Tuesday evening, in connection with his regular November visit. The Young Woman's M. I. A. of Springdale furnished several vocal and in-strumenal in-strumenal numbers, led by Mrs. Marine Christensen, president of the association. Chaplain Henry, who was a guest at the camp Monday and Tuesday, promises a recreational program for the camp next Monday, November 16. Friday evening, November 13 the Cedar City high school, under un-der the direction of Principal C. L. Miles will give a fifty-minute program at the Bridge Mountain camp. There will be vocal and. instrumental numbers, dancing! and readings This is the first of j a series of programs to be given i this winter at the Zion Park; camps, under the auspices of the '. Cedar City high school, the Branch Agricultural college and the Dixie j junior college. The educational department of the Bridge Mountain camp is to be enlarged, and strengthened during dur-ing the coming months. A room is being partitioned off at the end of the Mess hall for use as a camp library and. reading room. This will be wired, for additional lighting and devoted to library and. study only.. The present educational edu-cational building, of three rooms and a photographic laboratory, will be converted into classrooms and manual training shop.. Plans are being made to equip a woodwork wood-work shop for carpentry and cab-'ioet cab-'ioet making.. |
