Show NEWS OF THE COUNTY SEAT ! Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Jensen entertained Wednesday evening at a buffet supper and card party in honor ot Mr. and Mrs. John J. Phoenix. Door favors of little sachets were given to the ladies. Thanksgiving decorations were carried out in table decorations. Guests included: Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Milne, Tom Young, R. N. Ashby, LaVon McQuaid, R. M. Reber, Dr. and Mrs. A. W. McGregor Mc-Gregor and Dr. and Mrs. M. O. Hutchings and the guests of honor. He will be bring Mrs. Reynolds and his small son, Darrell home with him. They have been in the north for several weeks. Floyd Craig of Cedar City is working in the Auto Parts store in his absence. & R. B. Jeppson, state director of vocation education of Nevada was a Sunday guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Syphus. He also visited at. the J. L. Wads-worth Wads-worth home.- Mrs. Glenn Peterson of Big Piney, Wyo., is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. Heber Thompson and her son, Rudy Lortz. She came in Monday night. Mrs. E. W. Simmons entertained entertain-ed the Wednesday night Bridge club, Nov. 6. Dinner was served at the Arrowhead hotel followed by bridge at the Simmons' home. Honors for the evening went to Mr. and Mrs. Morton Morris. The rooms were bright with chrysanthemums. chrys-anthemums. Wednesday's state papers contained con-tained announcement of the death Tuesday of Joseph Allsop, 69, at his Salt Lake home. He was born in Richmond, Utah, July 31, 1871, later lived in Nevada, for several years- resided in St. George, where he and Mrs. Allsop worked in the Temple. Mrs. Merlin Milne entertained the Bridge Ettes at her home Wednesday afternoon with honors going to Mrs. Elmer Harmon and Mrs. Willard Milne. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. McAllister received word Monday of -the death in Fairview Sunday of the infant son born, Nov. 1, to Mr. and Mrs. John S. McAllister. Pres. Glenn E. Snow, county superintendent Milton E. Moody, principals L. J. Nuttall of Hurricane Hurri-cane and Ezra Tobler of Enterprise Enter-prise high schools motored to Delta Wednesday to attend the district convention of secondary school principals.' The Faculty Womens' club of the Dixie junior college will hold their Thursday afternoon session in the dining room of the Science building build-ing with Miss Ruth Ralck and Mrs. Dean Peterson as hostesses. The regular meeting of the Easy Aces club was held Wednesday Wed-nesday evening with Mrs. Reed Mathis as hostess.
