OCR Text	Show MINING ENGINEER LOST ON DESERT STUMBLES INTO SPRING, SAVES LIFE OVERTON, Nev., July 22.-3. E. Chu-pella, Chu-pella, Los Angeles mining engineer, is recovering from exposure and a gruelling gruel-ling experience in the desert 10 miles west of here. When the engineer failed to appear at his camp after several hours his two Mexican companions came to Overton and enlisted the aid of John Whipple, justice of the peace, who organized n posse and joined in the search. The morning after he was lost Clni-pella Clni-pella stumbled Into a spring seven miles west of here. The water saved his life, he declared, and he was found beside be-side the spring later by the searchers. Deseret News.
