Show Local Column Overflow Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Stringham have moved to Cedar City to make their home. Dr. A. J. Hutchings underwent a slight operation at the local hospital Tuesday. Mrs. Dunning Church and children arrived Monday from Los Angeles to spend some time here. William A. Whitehead who has been confined to his bed the past month with illness is slowly improving. Fred A. Reber and K. M. Doan left last night for Cedar City to spend a few days on business. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Grey left last Friday for New Castle to spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Esplin returned Wednesday from Fish Lake where they spent several days. Ferron Despain left Tuesday for his home at Axtell after spending a few days here. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Heaton were visitors here Wednesday from Moccasin, Mocca-sin, Ariz. Mrs. Louie Hinkston left the latter part of last week for Salt Lake City to spend some time visiting. Mr. and Mrs. David Woodbury and two children returned Wednesday from Salt Lake City where they spent their vacation. William O. Bentley left Saturday for Salt Lake City to spend six weeks attending of the U. of U. summer school. Ambrose Cannon, superintendent of the Shiviitt Indian reservation was a business visitor here the fore part of the week. Mrs. Kate Cheeny left Monday for Reno, Nev., to spend a month visiting relatives. She was accompanied by her nephew, Ted Logan, who spent last week here visiting. Mr. and Mrs. John Keate of Los Angeles An-geles arrived here Monday for a visit with relatives and friends. They visited vis-ited Bryce Canyon and Zion National park before returning to their home. Roland Bleak was here visiting his family the latter part of last week from Pine valley mountain where he is working. work-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reber and son Afton and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hafen and baby of Littlefield, Ariz., spent Sunday here visiting. Editor and Mrs. Wallis, son Alan and daughter, Miss Lillian, left Sunday night for the Coast, expecting to be gone several days on a vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Woods and son of Clover Valley, Nev., were here last Friday, Mr. Woods for medical, treatment. Reed E. Lowe of Mesquite, Nev., was a visitor here last Friday en route to Provo and other northern pdints to work. Mrs. O. S. Taylor and daughter, Miss Leatha returned Wednesday from Kim-berly, Kim-berly, Nev., where they spent the past month visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bert Berthelson. Miss Devora Whitehead was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised by a number of her friends Wednesday evening. The occasion oc-casion was her birthday. A nice time was had. Mr. and Mrs. Sid Pace of Alamo. Nevada, with their two children, came in Saturday night and visited over Sunday and Monday with relatives. They left Tuesday for their home. Miss Irene intends remaining here a few weeks. Word has been received that Patriarch Patri-arch George Marshall, who has been in the L. D.
