Show Howard Woodbury is a new employee em-ployee at the Dixie Drug store. Mrs. Effie Judd entertained the J. A. M. club last Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Rass Gardner spent the week end here from Pine Valley. Misses Rose Ashby and Anne Mc-Kaye Mc-Kaye spent Sunday visiting at Cedar City. Clyde McQuaide and' Delias Sullivan Sulli-van spent Sunday here visiting from Leeds. Brooks Hail spent the fore part of the week here from Wolf Hole, Ariz., on business. Mayor Edward Nelson of Fillmora spent the week end here visiting relatives rela-tives and friends. Elder Howard Judd has been released re-leased from the British mission and is on his way home. Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. David O. Woodbury, April 27; mother and babe doing nicely. Frank S. Leavitt was a business visitor here the fore part of the week from Littlefield, Arizona. J. A. Hyatt of Parowan underwent a critical operation for gall stones at the local hospital Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dilworth Snow returned re-turned Tuesday from Salt Lake City where they spent about ten days. Miss Mary McGregor is suffering with a broken right arm, the result of an accident Wednesday when she fell with her bicycle, breaking the arm above the wrist. |
