Show TOQUERVILLE Toquerville, May 10. A real sensation sen-sation was spread over our community commun-ity last Friday when the report reached reach-ed us, a child was lost at Pintura, belonging be-longing to tourists. Most every man from here went at once and by 1:00 a. m., Saturday, the little boy was found asleep about 1 miles above the forest reserve gate, 5 miles southwest south-west of Pintura. The group of men who found him consisted of Arthur Olds, Wallace Stewart, Ellis Smith, Andrew Olds, H. A. Jackson and Clarence and Harvey Theobald. The child was unhurt except for being cold, it being an extra cool night. Many others aided materially in the search including 6 5 scouts from Panguitch, Pan-guitch, there being about 200 in the searching party. J Clair Higbee returned Saturday from California where he has been driving a bus for the U. P. Mrs. Alex Macfarlane of St. George spent the week end here with her sister, Mrs. R. B. Naegle. Mrs. George Kleinman who has been teaching school at New Harmony Har-mony has returned. Mrs. M. V. Lamb has returned from Central where she has been teaching school. Mrs. W. W. Lunt of Salt Lake City was here last week visiting friends and relatives. Miss Lula Slack returned Saturday from Cedar City. Mrs. Clyde Papworth is visiting in Salt Lake City. Walter Beatty left last week for Idaho. |
