Show Rescuers Find Dead Comrades Fairmont, W. Va. Rescue workers approached the end of the long trail in their search for the dead of the Everettsville mine disaster. Completely Com-pletely subdued after a week of stubborn stub-born fighting, the blast-torn colliery offered of-fered little resistance to the helmet men as they rolled back the deadly sases from beading after heading and brought forth from their sepulchre the lifeless forms of underground workers entombed eight days ago. Twenty bodies were located within the last twenty-four hours, bringing the total known dead to fifty-three. Search for the remaniing forty-ono bodies. yet in the mine was continued without abatement. abate-ment.
