Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS STATE OF UTAH Office of State Road Commission Salt Lake City, Utah. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m. Tuesday, January 6th, 192 5, and at that time publicly opened for Construction of a gravel surface road and one (1) 150-ft. reinforced concrete bridge in Washington Wash-ington County the same being Federal Aid Project No 81-A 1-A between Anderson's An-derson's Ranch and Toquerville. The length of road to be constructed construct-ed or improved is 2. S3 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approx-imately as follows: Schedule No. 1 Roadway Common Excavation 6300 cu. yds. Solid Rock Exc. 6500 cu. yds. Borrow 24 5 cu. yds. Gravel surfacing 70 50 cu.yds. Schedule No. 2 Bridge 319 cu. yds. Concrete; 53000 lbs. reinf. steel. (Bids will be received on either or both schedules). Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Com-mission, Salt Lake City, Utah, and the office of the Bureau of Public Roads Ogden, Utah. The above plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of the State Road Commission on depositing Five ($5.00) Dollars. Any additional addition-al information may be secured from the Chief Engineer at Salt Lake City, Utah. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certified check for Schedule Sched-ule No. 1 Fifteen Hundred Dollars. Cash or certified check for Schedule Sched-ule No. 2. Five Hundred Dollars. ($1500.00, 500.00 ) made payable to the Utah State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required.
