Show success. The costuming, especially of the girls was excellent, as was also ! the stage setting. The Spanish j dances, directed by Miss Bessie Thurston were exceptionally good. There we no tiresome waits, the Highland fling and other dances being be-ing given very effectively before the raising of the curtain and between acts by Arline Riding, Thelma Bleak and Afton Bleak, the latter a mere child of about five years of age. Everyone of the principals scored high, and the choruses and solos were exceedingly good. The cast follows: Senor Dictorio (an admirer of toreadors) tor-eadors) Vivian J. Frei, Benita and Juanita (twin daughters of Senor Dictorio) Berniece Foster and Anna Carter, Juan and Pablo (admirers of the twin girls) Mark Mickleson and Clarence Moss, Senors Swateo and Whackeo (beggars disguised as toreadors) tore-adors) Elwood Romney and Rhulin Pectol, Dolores and Maria (friends of Benita and Juanita) Beth Fawcett and Una Pickett. |
