The flow of recollections, dear and sweet, come to my brain, And I feel the old youth throbbing in my bosom once again. The spirit of the Yuletide! How it thrills the sluggish frame With the sight of old-time faces, with some long-forgotten namel Once again the dead are living; once again care flits away. And the whole earth rings with pleasure at the dawning Christmas Day. The spirit of the Yuletide! May it coma with blessed peace. Till all earthly strifes are ended, till all earthly sorrows ceanel Men of all the lands are brothers humans riBe to heights divine-When divine-When the Christmas bells are ringing and the Christmas candles shine! |
