Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 'STATE OF UTAH, OFFICE OF STATE ROAD COMMISSION, COMMIS-SION, SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, AUGUST 11, 1934. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p.m. Monday, August 27th, 1934, and at that time publicly opened for construction of an oil surfaced road in Washington County the same being U. 6. Public Works Projects No. X.R.H. 81-B-C-E-F (1935) between Zion Park and La Verkin Junction. The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 20.3a4 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as follows: 36,690 Tons Fine Aggregate Piant Mix Surfacing. The attention of bidders is directed to the Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract and to the use. cf Domestic Materials. Tne minimum, wago paio 10 yli skilled labor employed on this contract shall be 90 cents per hour. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be 65 cents per hour. The minimum wage paid to all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be 5 5 cents per hour. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar City, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing $2.00, which will be returned, providing provid-ing contractor submits an acceptable accept-able bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional information infor-mation may be secured at the office of the State Road Commission. Com-mission. Each bidder must submit sub-mit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. A certificate of compliance on the prescribed form which will be furnished for that purpose shall be signed and submitted by all bidders, in accordance with Executive Order No. 6646, issued by the President on March 14, 1934. Only bids accompanied accompan-ied by such certificate shall be considered or accepted. The contractor con-tractor to whom award- is made shall require sub-contractors and dealers furnishing equipment, materials, and supplies to sign similar certificates before making mak-ing awards to or purchases from such sub-contractors or dealers, copies of which will be furnished furnish-ed to the contracting officer.
