Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, June 20. Elijah T. Adair, who died here June 5th, was a son of George W. Adair and Miriam Bellings-ley. Bellings-ley. He was born Nov. 27, 1856. He was married to Lucy Hoge and later to Bell Walker. Both wives and eight children survive him, all being present at the funeral excepting Mrs. Emily Thomas, who is in St. George for medical medi-cal aid and George Adair in California. The quarterly conference held at Enterprise was well attended, people from all parts of the stake being present. pres-ent. Apostle Richard R. Lyman presided. presi-ded. President Nicholes conducted the services, a very enjoyable time was had and all are invited to come again. We hope we will have many more conferences confer-ences here. Friday afternoon the Relief Society had a bazaar. Many nice and useful things were sold. At night they gave a dance in the ward hall and sold ice cream. Saturday night there was a "get acquainted" ac-quainted" dance given in the ward hall. Old as well as young had a very enjoyable enjoy-able time. The Misses Gwen and Roca Alger have gone to Salt Lake City. Addie Fish and Adrene Tait have gone to Provo. |
