Show CANE BEDS Cane Beds, Ariz., Sept. 13. The Stake Presidency, Jos. K. Nicholes, Walter Cannon and Wm. O. Bentley, were with us last Sunday, Sept. 6. We appreciated their visit very much as it was the first visit we have ever had of stake officers. Their talks in meeting were timely and interesting. interest-ing. A dancing party was held Friday night in the schoolhouse in honor of the students from Cane Beds and Short Creek who are going off to . school this winter. Everybody had a good time. William Scott and family left today to-day for St. George where they expect to live this winter. Their son Joseph Jos-eph will attend the Dixie college. Ellis Stock and Frank Thurston returned from the saw mill at Mount Trumbull last Sunday with a load of lumber. Annie, LuZene and Emily Wilkinson Wilkin-son left Saturday for St. George to attend the Dixie college again this winter. Dan Palmer made a trip to Rockville Rock-ville this week after fruit. |
