Show School Land Bills Officially Postponed Washnigton. In an official state ment the secretary of the interior formally announced deferment of action ac-tion on the school land bills until next session of congress. This agreement to postpone, he says, was reached between be-tween congressmen from the western states and the interior department, in order that the department may make a complete analysis of the questions of policy involved in the school land bills. "It has been decided," says the secretary, "that sufficient time did not exist at the present session of congress con-gress for a comprehensive study of such an important change in this long-established long-established national policy.
