Show WASHINGTON Washington, June 1. The officers and girls of the Y. L. M. I. A. entertained enter-tained their mothers Wednesday afternoon aft-ernoon in Hall's grove. A most enjoyable en-joyable time was had. An interesting interest-ing program was rendered and many games indulged in after which a bounteous lunch was spread on the grass and about sixty mothers and daughters enjoyed it to the fullest extent. ex-tent. It was almost dusk before the merrymakers left for their homes. The Primary officers and teachers took the children to Hall's grove Saturday Sat-urday afternoon where they held their closing exercises for the summer. sum-mer. Many mothers were in attendance. attend-ance. All took lunch and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Neilson and Mrs. Annie L. Neilson went to Cedar City Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. I. T. Neilson. The Relief Society is arranging to take a large company to the St. George temple Thursday and Friday. Miss Ida Jolley returned Thursday from Cedar City where she spent a week visiting friends and relatives. Eldon Larson has returned from Alamo, Nevada, where he has been teaching school the past term. Mrs. Heber Covington of Orderville was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Larson Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. William Miller and family left Sunday for Kolob mountain moun-tain -to spend the summer. A group of Bee Hive girls went to the temple Tuesday where they were baptized for the dead. y Mrs. Joseph Hafen has returned from Provo where she has been visiting visit-ing a few weeks. Ralph Westover and Joseph Judd spent the week end here from Iron Springs. Workmen are busy remodeling the homes of H. J. Tegan and Willard Neilson. Mrs. Liona Watts and children of Delta are here visiting relatives. Born, a son, May 21st, to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seegmiller. The Hurricane orchestra is giving a dance to night. |
