Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, May 31. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Roher, Mrs. Nellie Hafen and (laughter Minnie left last Friday for Salt Lake, where they will leave Miss Minnie who leaves on the 11th inst. for the Western States mission. A party was given Tuesday at the borne of Mrs. Josephine Graff in honor of Mrs. Walter Cottam, who is leaving soon for her home at Provo. Crayton Leavitt, Orval Hafeh and Melvin Wittwer have returned home after teaching school in different sections sec-tions of the country the past term. A party was had at the home of Miss- Vivian Leavitt one day last week in honor of Miss Minnie Hafen. A very enjoyable time was had. Julius and Miss Josephine Wittwer left last Sunday for Richfield, on account ac-count of serious illness of their sister, Rosella. Walter Hughes who has been here for some time returned to his home at Mesquite, Nevada, last Thursday. Clyde and Glen Graff have just returned re-turned home from Salt Lake, where they had been on business. Frank Reber, Spencer Reber and Gideon Graf left last Thursday for Delta to seek employment. Mrs. Lorin Reber and Lola Hafen entertained at a kensington jn honor of their sister Minnie. Mrs. Frank Reber is here from Hurricane with her mother, who is in a critical condition. Mrs. William Tobler of Washington Washing-ton is here with her mother, Mrs. Samuel Wittwer. Mrs. Leona Ray returned home recently re-cently from Delta where she has been visiting relatives. |
