Show i VERY FIXE ENTERTAINMENT IS. A GRAND SUCCESS The entertainment put on Monday night by the M. I. Assns. of the three wards was a real success from every point of view. Financially, enough was cleaned to meet expenses for the coming year, to pay for the orchestra, lights, and a new lock on the piano box. "Three in One" was the title of the entertainment, each ward having its own part. The West ward presented a one-act play that was exceedingly good. Its title was "My Aunt from California. It was given under direction dir-ection of Miss Alice Pendleton and was excruciatingly funny. The cast was "Sally," Gertrude McGregor; "Felicia," La Berta McGregor; "Aunt Mary," Verna Cox; "Mother," Mary Atkin; Rosalie, Mary Andrus. The East ward put on a musical comedy which was hilarious and mirth provoking from start to finish. Its title was "I'll Do the Job," and it was written and directed by Alfred Morris. Those taking part were Alfred Alf-red Morris (father), Mazel Sproul I (son), Ruth Winsor (Mrs. Martin), LaVerna Webb (Mrs. Martin's daughter.) daugh-ter.) Dancers were Edith Gates, Laura Foremaster, Golda Harris, Juanita Seegmiller and Mildred Marshall; Mar-shall; "Crook," Arthur Kemp; "Mincer," "Min-cer," John H. Cottam. Miss Ruth Winsor had but an hour to learn a leading part and came through with colors flying. Mr. Morris certainly Put on a good comedy and well upheld up-held the chief male character. Ti)e South ward put on a one-act 1,ay entitled "Enter The Hero." Characters were represented as follows: fol-lows: "Anne Carey," Anna Brooks; "Ruth Carey," Una Pickett; "Harold Cawscn," Ray Whipple; the girls' m"ther, Miss Mabel JarvisL Much credit is due the M.
