Show I CANTATA, "MISER'S DREAM," BY SIXTH GRADE PUPILS The sixth grades at the Woodward School will present a Christmas Cantata Can-tata entitled "The Miser's Dream." The students are working under the direction dir-ection of the music instructor, Mr. K. E. Pordham. The cantata will be presented pre-sented Dec. 22, at the Taberancle, at 1:30. A small charge of 10 and 5 cents vill be made. The school is making an effort to equip the playground with apparatus for corrective exercises. The money raised from the Christmas cantata can-tata will be used solely for this purpose. pur-pose. "The Miser's Dream" is well worth seeing. Friday, Dec. 16, a two-part singing contest will be held at Woodward 3 p. m. There are four groups of sixteen six-teen each in 7th and a like number in the 8th. The last average of the four will be winning class for our annual Contest. Following are the leaders: Seventh Grade Thelma Bleak, Howard How-ard Whitehead, Rhoda Andrus, Afton Judd. Eighth Grade Clawson Burgess, Mary McGregor, Marie Cox, Andrew Irtle. |
