Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. VERNON POLLOCK AT MESQUITE Littlefield, Ariz., Dec. 5. Mrs. Vernon Ver-non Pollock passed away at the hospital hospit-al at St. George, Utah, Wednesday, Nov. 30, her death being caused by blood poisoning. She was taken to Mesquite, Nevada, that same night. The funeral was held in Mesquite Friday at 2 p. m. The speakers were Brother Harding, teacher at Littlefield, and Bro. Arthur Hughes and ex-Bishop William Abbott of Mesquite. They all paid high tribute trib-ute to her devotion to her family; and her faith in the gospel. The grave was dedicated by Bro. Ashel Barnum. The community extends sympathy to those who are left to mourn. She is survived surviv-ed by her 'husband and three daughters, daugh-ters, Nadine, Joyce Beth and a three weeks old babe Lola May; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Reber; her brothers and sisters, Bishop Harold Reber, Maude Lee, Mrs. Chauncey Potter, Pot-ter, Afton Reber, Mrs. Luther Hafen, Grace Reber, Leafa Reber, Ellis Reber, Berniece, Norma and Carma Reber. Mrs. Verna Pollock was born in Littlefield, Lit-tlefield, Ariz., in 1900 and had lived here until about two years after her marriage when they moved to Mesquite, Mes-quite, Nev., to make their home. She had a large circle of friends and was liked by all who knew her. |
