Show FROM PAROWAN TIMES It was reported by County Commissioner Commis-sioner E. E. Williams that the contract was let the first of the week to Edwin R. Higbee for Iron County's part of the new road from New Harmony east to the Zion Park Higbee also has the contract from Washington County for th other part of that road, which, it is understood, will be rushed to completion comple-tion this fall. Mr. Clark Watson was up from St. George on Monday of this week in the interest of the big mid-winter festival they are having in that city between Christmas and New Years day. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy H. Cox of St. George were here to spend hanksgiv-ing hanksgiv-ing day with Mrs. Cox's mother, Mrs. Mary L. Orton. Mrs. Lovina Berry, who was called here by the death of her son, J. A. Berry, left yesterday for Cedar City to remain with her daughter, Mrs. John Adams. Mr. Lollin Orton, who has been in )St. George for several months, came home for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Williams spent two days last week in Salt Lake City. |
