Show MANY VISITORS AT UNION MEETING The stake Union meeting was held Sunday afternoon in the tabernacle. tab-ernacle. The preliminary meeting was held jointly with the sacra-j sacra-j ment meeting of the three St. j George wards. Departmental meet-j meet-j ings were held in Dixie college and all were well attended. In the Seventies Sev-enties division, the annual report was read by L. A. Snow. In answer to a request from the First Council Coun-cil of Seventies, he gave a brief review of the source of the missionary mis-sionary fund, and read a reply to be sent to the first council. Kenneth Cannon and Miss Tillie Winsor were in charge of the Mutual Mu-tual division. Activity work, consisting con-sisting of re-told stories, drama, public speaking and dancing, was taken up. In the Primary department, Primary Pri-mary work, credits and child training train-ing were discussed. Songs for the spring festival were practiced and the importance of the. summer work taken up. Mrs. Madge Cannon Can-non was in charge of the meeting. The high priests quorum meeting was under the direction of David H. Morris. Reports were given, and all wards represented received instructions. in-structions. In the bishop's division, the annual an-nual report and church standards were discussed. Orval Hafen was in charge of the elder's quorum. Topics for each quorum were outlined, to be mailed mail-ed out before the 15th of March. A report is to be given on each subject at the next meeting. John T. Woodbury and B. Glen Smith addressed those who remained re-mained in the tabernacle. |
