Show ROCKVILLE ROCKVTLLE, January 6. Richard and Edwin DeMille went to Salt Lake City Tuesday. They expect ex-pect to return in a short time. Miss Maida DeMille went as far as Parowan with them and will continue her school work there, after spending the holidays at home. Grandma Dennett has been very ill for a week, but is slowly improving. im-proving. Alvin and Alma DeMille and their families-cf Cedar City, spent a few days here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Fermen Bruner and baby of Capitan, New Mexico, v.ero visiting relatives here last week. Mrs. Oscar DeMille and sons, j Floyd anJ Wendell, and daughter, Iona, left Sunday for Hurricane where the children will attend high school. Elmer Taylor of New Harmony was a visitor here last week. The following were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Ballard on New Year's day: Miss Lucille Worthen and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Worthen Wor-then of St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack of Toquerville, and Prof. Johnson of the B. Y. XJ., at Provo. Those from outside towns who attended the funeral of the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hirschi -were Mr. and Mrs. W511iam Bringhurst of Toquerville, David Lorin Hirschi of Cedar City, Mrs. Claud Hirschi, Mrs. Eliza DeMille De-Mille and Mrs. Susie Stanworth of Hurricane. Glen Hall of Hurricane spent the week end here with Alpine DeMille. De-Mille. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Ballard entertained en-tertained a few friends at a New Year's party. Miss Barbara Terry entertained a number of young folks January 1, honoring her sister, Fae, the occasion oc-casion being her birthday. |
