Show dmSatsISm Expect Interest in Event to Greatly Increase Each Year. Many fine animals and fowls were entered in the first annual livestock show sponsored by the Southern Utah Association of Livestock Men, and it is expected that interest in the event will grow each year and that more livestock live-stock will be placed on exhibition. Particularly outstanding were the purebred Hereford cattle of E. S. Gardner of Pine Valley. These animals, it was reported, would compare favorably with those shown in the annual show at Og-den. Og-den. The herd of John T. Woodbury, Wood-bury, Jr. (Jersey) also was noteworthy. note-worthy. Extra good sheep were entered by Jos. K. Nicholes, E. S. Gardner Gard-ner and LeRoy H. Cox. Although the race meet men remained re-mained to enter their horses in the show, the grand champion of the horse show was entered by-Matt by-Matt Grey of Central. In the poultry show 122 chickens chick-ens were entered. Ten turkeys were entered, all by St. George Wells and Sons. The outstanding feature of the show was the large number of Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds entered.
