Show COMMISSIONERS MET IN BUSINESS SESSIONS MONDAY The board of county commissioners commission-ers met Monday in two sessions. The old board met at 10 a. m. with Chairman H. T. Atkin, Jas. Judd and F. J. Bowler present. All of the business of 1930 was closed and the following official bonds approved: Donald Schmutz for Justice of the peace for New Harmony. James A. Neilson for constable of New Harmony. John T. Woodbury for county clerk. Harmon Gubler, Jr., for justice of the peace at Santa Clara. E. J. Pickett for county attorney. attor-ney. At 12 noon the new board took over the reins of government, with Morris Wilson, Jr., the new member mem-ber present, and the following appointments ap-pointments were approved: Deputy assessors R. P. Woodbury Wood-bury of Hurricane, John C. Benson Ben-son of Enterprise, and Leonard Daiton of Rockville. Mrs. Laura A. Gates was reappointed reap-pointed deputy county clerk. Mrs. Ella J. Seegmiller was reappointed re-appointed deputy county treasurer. treasur-er. Henry A. Pace was appointed registrar cf vital statistics for New Harmony, and James W. Im-lay Im-lay will take charge of the road jwork for the county in the east-I east-I cm section. |
