Show "NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS State of Utah, Office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah, January 5, 1931. Sealed bids will toe received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m., Tuesday, January 20th, 1931, and at that time publicly opened for construction of a gravel surfaced road including one concrete bridge of 36 foot span, in Washington County, the same being Federal Aid Project No. 79-C, between Harrisburg and Anderson's Ranch. The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 7.193 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as follows: 62,000 cu. yds. unclassified excavation, exca-vation, 16.000 cu. yds. gravel surface loading. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar City, where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal, . bidding blanks and plans will be furnished in Salt Lake City, on depositing $5.00, which will be returned, providing pro-viding contractor submits an acceptable ac-ceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional information in-formation may be secured at the office of the State Road Commisr sion. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certified check for four thousand and no-100 dollars ($4,-000.00), ($4,-000.00), made payable to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute exe-cute the contract and give bond as required.
