Show ROMNEY AGAIN RAGEWINNER Heber Tobler Second and Donald Bleak Came in Third; Winner's -Time 10:3 Elwood Romney of the fourth year high school, for the second consecutive consecu-tive year, today won the crosscountry cross-country run sponsored annually by the athletic department of Dixie College. His time was ten minutes three seconds. Heber Tobler finished fin-ished second and Donald Bleak third. Romney finished about seven sev-en yards in the lead, with the second sec-ond and third place men coming in close together. Tobler led the race from the start until they swung into the last block when Romney went into the " lead. There were 27 entrants in the race and all finished. Forty-eight students had previously signified their intentions of running, but any one who had not followed a prescribed pre-scribed training schedule, or whose physical condition was questionable, was not allowed to start. A rigid examination cut the original list of entrants to 27. A total prize list worth in the neighborhood of $160 was put up by business men. The winner of the race will receive a gold medal from the athletic department and first choice of the prizes donated by business men. The second year class won point honors with 148, receiving from the athletic department two large white turkeys. The third years were second sec-ond with 81 points, sophomores 65, first years 34, third years 27 and college freshmen 22.
