Show i LEGION SEEKS SUPPORT FOR SOLDIERS' MOVOIENT At the close of the Legion and Auxiliary party Monday night a i business meeting of the Legion was called at which it was decided to ask the support of the county in the erection of a soldiers' memorial on the ground belonging to the Legion Le-gion in the court house block. The different towns of the county will be asked for financial assistance assist-ance in proportion to the number 'of men from the community who served in the world war. A finance committee composed of Walter F. Smith, John T. Woodbury Wood-bury and Mathew Bentley, was appointed, ap-pointed, and a committee consisting of Henry Pickett, Cal Dalton and Wm. Miller was appointed to look after grounds and building details. |
