Show TOQUE RVILLE fOQUKRVILLE, Feb. 20. On "Wednesday night the Parent-Teachers' association met in regular session. A program was given by the students after which the teachers returned them to the classrooms and met and discussed dis-cussed with the parents the various va-rious problems of school work. After the business was attended attend-ed to, the group adjourned to the play room where refreshment refresh-ment table5, were set, decorated with i Valentine motif. The M. I. A. held their Valentine Val-entine dance Tuesday night. The hall was decorated with Valentine Valen-tine colors, and an excellent time was had by all who attended. at-tended. Thursday evening the Primary officers and teachers held a social so-cial at the home of Mrs. Lynn Naegle. Visiting missionaries Harvey Dalton and John Heaton finished their work here Tuesday. A large crowd from here attended at-tended the quarterly conference held at Hurricane Saturday and Sunday. Word has been received here of the birth of a daughter on Tuesday, February 14, to Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams at Cedar City. Mr. and MVs. Douglas Manning of Cedar City are here visiting friends and relatives. Harry Slack left Sunday for Salt Lake City on business. The people of Toquerville extend ex-tend their deepest sympathy to John T. Woodbury, Jr., and his family in their bereavement. E. R. Higbee and children spent Sunday here. |
