PROHIBITION PETITIONS FILED .Signers to petitions for the retention of Utah's present liquor li-quor law were secured in St. George last week by representatives represen-tatives of women's organizations of the L. D. S. church, and forwarded for-warded to Salt Lake City Sun- daThe campaign was conducted under the auspices of the Relief Re-lief Society, with the assistance of other auxiliary organizations It was contended that if 100 per cent of the voters of any community should sign the petitions, peti-tions, that town would be saved the expense of voting when the question is re-submitted, as is proposed by a recent action of the state legislature.
