Show TOQUERVILLE SCHOOL NEWS Last Wednesday the parents and teachers of the Toquerville school held pheir Parent-Teacher meeting. Sixty-eight members were present, Including parents of La Verkin, Toqnerville and Pintura. Miss Gubler's grade gave a Lincoln play. Miss Hopkins' students stu-dents presented a Valentine play entitled "Somebody's Valentine" and Geraldine Seegmiller gave a reading on Washington and Lincoln. "Father of Liberty" was' sung by students of the seventh sev-enth and eighth grades. After the opening program parents pa-rents met with the teachers' in their respective rooms and talked talk-ed over school problems. At 10 o'clock the parents and teachers teach-ers were seated at tables decorated dec-orated appropriately for Valentine Valen-tine day. Ice cream and cake were served. La Verkin parents furnished lunch for the occasion. occa-sion. Mr. Henroid of La Verkin was toastmaster. At 11 o'clock the crowd adjourned feeling they had been well repaid for com- i ing out. Much credit is due the presidency and other ofiicers for such an appropriate programs. ! and it is hoped that future nteet- i ings will be as successful as this j one.
