Show Halted Governor's Veto Abuse of the veto power of the first governor of Ohio created such bitter resentment toward gubernatorial guberna-torial Interference that when his enemies secured control of the constitutional con-stitutional convention in 1S02 they adopted the opposite extreme, depriving de-priving the governor of any voice in legislation.
