Show A WAYNE WONDER j RICHFIELD, April 24. Action j is finally being secured from the federal government In creating a national park of the Wayne Wonderland, Won-derland, according to F. G. Mar-tines, Mar-tines, president of the Associated Civic Clubs df Southern Utah, when he stated on Monday that Roger W. Toll of the national park service at Washington D. C, will be here on May 1 to Investigate before introducing it In a bill before Congress. The Associated Civic clubs has for a long time been working to secure government action In the matter. Members of Congress already have pledged themselves to support the measure, which would be presented following an Investigation. H. M. Rasmussen, secretary of the association, Is in Cedar City arranging for the next meeting of the association, to be held there on May 19. A number of important im-portant projects undertaken by the club are expected to be further fur-ther discussed and progress reported. |
