Show HAS CONFIDENCE IX VIRGIN DOME OIL WELL 283 E. St. James St. San Jose, California. Mr. J. R. Wallis, Saint George, Utah. My Dear Mr. Wallis: I am enclosing en-closing you my check for another year's subscription to your most interesting in-teresting and valued paper. I find it most interesting in keeping in touch with the happenings of Saint George. I understand that there is a very good road now from Las Vegas to Mesquite. If it is true it would be of a great benefit to your country as the old road wasno racing thoroughfare. thorough-fare. I must drive over this new road and say "hello" to my friends in St. George. I understand that they have been having a little trouble at the Virgin Dome well in the way of a fishing job. I am sorry to learn that they have been hung up but of course these jobs all come and will continue to come up so long as there are wells drilled. I am in hopes of hearing at any time that they have succeeded in overcoming the trouble and that they will soon tap the "Big Sand" as they have done in the southeastern-part southeastern-part of your 'state. This well has been a battle but I feel confident that they will all be rewarded for their grit and patience. They all deserve a world of credit for the way they have hung to the job. The oil business is California is good the old wells are holding up good and new wells are being brought in most regularly, I am as ever, C. C. HAIGLER, |
