Show WASHINGTON Washington, Jan. 18. The M. I. A. gave their green and gold ball Friday, Fri-day, Jan. 14, in the gym. The hall was tastefully decorated in the M. I. A. colors and all members wore caps of green and gold. A very nice time was had by all present. Elders George Brooks of St. George and Frank Barber of Hurricane Hurri-cane spent about ten days in our ward, laboring as missionaries. Their instructions to the people were timely and we feel that much good is the result of their visit. Miss Hilda Staheli of this city and Claud Reeves of Reno, Nevada, were married Saturday. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli respected residents of this place. We extend congratulations. Mrs. Emma Hoyt of Orderville is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Prisbrey, Sr. Mrs. Mary Hafen returned Monday from Provo, where she has been visiting visit-ing her parents. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Neil-son, Neil-son, Jr., a son. |
