Show LEEDS Leeds-. Mar. 2 9. The farmers here are very busy planting fruit trees. There has been eighteen hundred fig trees and quite a few other fruit trees and some choice grape vines set cut here this spring. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harris and children came up from St. George and spent Sunday here with relatives. Mrs. A. G. Anderson came down from Beaver last week. She will remain re-main here some time for 'her health. Fay and Clair Sterling, Thelma and Cal Hartley spent the week end home from St. George. Reed and Eldon Fuller made a business trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Sullivan have moved into their new home on their farm here. Mrs. Carol Haight of Cedar City-spent City-spent the week end here with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Mamie Elder of Hurricane was visiting relatives here last week. William Nicholls of Cedar City-was City-was in town Tuesday on business. Albert Talbert of Beaver City was a business visitor here Saturday. Mrs. Sarah Orton of Beaver was visiting relatives here last week. Edward Vincent is painting and improving his residence here. Clark Hartman spent the week end in Hurricane. |
