Show UTAH BOND SALES CONTINUE HIGH W. Russell Anderson, Salt Lake County Savings Bonds vice chairman for iBingham District, has been notified toy Frederick P. Champ, state chairman, that purchase of series E and H savings sav-ings bonds in this county during April amounted to $800,662.00, bringing the total for the year to $3,187,390.00, or 35.37a of the 1956 quota. Residents of Utah purchased $1,853,949 of. these series during April, which became the second highest sales month since March 1955. Utahns have invested $7,-195,456 $7,-195,456 in savings (bonds since the first of the year, or 35.4 of the year's goal, according to Mr. Champ. "I urge all who can to buy an extra bond during our Fifteenth Anniversary Month of May", said Mr. Anderson. "It is good for the individual, the county and our overall economy, besides be-sides showing our faith in this great nation of ours. Let's put and keep our county in the lead," he continued. . O- |
