Misses Edith Harris and Mona Woodbury left this morning for Los Angeles where they will visit relatives for several days. Mrs. R. J. Williams who has been ill for the past two weeks, is reported improved. Mrs. Hazel Sanders of La Ver-kin Ver-kin was admitted to the local hospital hos-pital Wednesday for an appendicitis appendi-citis operation. Mrs. Lucy Keate and Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Mathis, Relief Society representatives, repre-sentatives, spent Tuesday at Ivins. Mrs. Eleanor Seegmiller and Mrs. Josephine Miles spent the same day at Santa Clara on a like mission. Mrs. Kate Clark, Mrs. Walter Dodge and Mr. and Mrs. Yates of Salt Lake City left today for a tour of Zion park and the canyons. can-yons. They have spent the past five days here visiting at the John Pymn home. This is Mrs. Dodge's first visit here' in twenty-seven years. She was a former resident of Dixie. Dr. and Mrs. Harold Snow of Los Angeles spent Tuesday here visiting Miss Evelyn Ostlund. Mrs. Snow is a sister of Miss Ostlund and the couple were on a return trip from Salt Lake City where they were married in the temple on February 21. |
