Show TOQUERVILLE j Toquerville, Aug. IS. Prof, and J Mrs. A. N. Merrill received word from Los Angeles, Wednesday of the marriage of their son Lyman to Miss ' Norene Newell, a prominent young lady of that city. Miss Newell is a relatives of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Newell New-ell of this city. A wedding reception was given Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's uncle. The J young couple will spend their honeymoon honey-moon at Tia Juana, Mexico. Provo Times. Miss Newell was formerly of this place. Inzell Welch of Los Angeles and Irene Slack of this place were married marri-ed in Los Angeles, Aug. 7. The bride is a charming young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo J. Slack. Irene has been working in California for the past two years. Their many friends wish them a long happy married mar-ried life. Mr. and Mrs. William Lunt have returned to their home in Salt Lake after spending a few days here with relatives and friends. ' Mr. and Mrs. Parley Dalley of Cedar City are here visiting Mrs. Dalley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Naegle, Sr. Miss Merle Pace of New Harmony spent Sunday here, visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. R. B. Naegle. Mrs. Edwin R. Higbee spent a few j days last week in Cedar City on business. |
