Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, Aug. 11. Last Sunday Sun-day afternoon the new stake presidency presid-ency was with us in our sacrament meeting. Their talks were good and timely. We all invite them to come again. After meeting they were invited in-vited to Ivins to eat melons. The St. George orchestra gave a dance here last Saturday night. A large number of young people from St. George were to the dance; all seemed to have a good time. Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt who has spent the past week at Cedar City visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Ether Stucki, returned home last Sunday. Mrs. Archie Gubler and clilidren returned home last evening from the Pine Valley mountain where they have spent the past two weeks. Mrs. James P. Outsin of Richfield is here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel, Wittwer. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Gubler and family are down from their ranch at the Pine Valley mountain. Elberta peaches are being taken to the northern and western settlements by the truck loads. |
