Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office. Salt Lake City, Utah, May 17, 1927. Notice is hereby given that the Dixie Power Company, whose principal princi-pal place of business is Cedar City, Utah, has made application in accordance accord-ance with the requirements of Sec. 8, Chapter 67, Session Laws of Utah, 1919 and 1925 to change the point of return and place of use of 3d c. f. s. of water from Santa Clara Creek in Washington County, Utah. Heretofore Here-tofore said water has been diverted at a point which bears S 25 31' W. 2552.5 ft. from the NE cor. of Sec. 32, T. 39 S., R. 16 W., S. L. M. and used for generating electrical energy by means rf one 5 foot Pelton Wheel located in power house in SW'SEVi Sec. 11, T. 40 S R. 17 W., S. L. M. After having been so used the water was returned to the natural channel at a point which bears N. 14 5' E. 205 ft. from the E cor. of Sec. 32, T. 40 S., R. 17 W., S. L. M. It is now desired to divert the water as heretofore and convey same in a canal a distance of 4385 ft. to a point S. 82 12' E. 1560 ft. from the NW cor. of Sec. 5, T. 40 S., R. 16 W., thence by means of a pipe line and a canal a distance of 23500 ft. to a reservoir located in the SWVi Sec. 18, NW4NWU Sec. 19, said township town-ship and range, thence by a 32 Inch wooden conduit and steel pressure pipe line 13315 ft. to power plant in SENW of Sec. 26, T. 40 S., R. 17 W., thence by canal and 32 inch wooden conduit and steel pressure pipe line 10334 ft. to a power house located in the SWNE4 Sec. 28, said township and range where the water will be used for generating electric energy by means of two 5 ft. Pelton wheels in the two named power plants. After having been so used the water will now be returned to the natural channel at a point which bears S. 86 45' E. 3505 ft. from the NW cor. of Sec. 28, T 40 S., R 17 W., S. L. M. This application applica-tion is designated in the State Engineer's Engin-eer's Office as File No. a972. All protests against tlte granting of said application, stating the reasons therelor, must he by affidavit in duplicate, accompanied with a fee of $1.00, and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion comple-tion of the publication of this notice GEO.
