Show Our Old Type Face Follows THE TRIP PO ZIOX Last Friday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson and the editor of the News, and wife left Panguitch for Parowan, where they were joined by Supt. and Mrs. M. O. Poulson and little Billie, and Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle of the Beaver High, and the entire party started for a trip to Zion can-others can-others from the Milford high school, also Mr. and Mrs. T. Frank Sevy who had been visiting in St. George, but came up to meet" the party, and the day was spent in picnicing. In the afternoon he pary let for Hurricane, Hurri-cane, the Hot Springs and Gould's shearing corral, (where James M. Sergent and his happy bunch were shearing) then on, to St. George where the beautiful roses grow. In St. George the News family had a dandy visit with Mr. John R. Wallis of the Washington County News, (the man who has the reputation of having the neatest and cleanest print shop in the state) and were treated royally. It sure was a wonderful sight to see all the green shrubbery and beautiful flowers in Dixie, and such a great pleasure to meet such hospitable people who live in the far south of Utah, and It all made us long for another just such a trip in the near future. After the 15th of this month all the roads in that section sec-tion will be finished and it will be good sailing all the way to Zion. Garfield County News. |
