Show JOSEPH HAFEN DIES LEAVING FOUR CHILDREN TO MOURN Joseph Hafen of Enterprise, who died here Saturday, May 28, as mentioned in our issue of the 2nd inst., was a son of John G. and Mary Anna Hafen of Santa Clara. He was 38 years of age and was married to Emma L. Truman, Dec. 16, 1914. His wife died last. January Jan-uary leaving him with four children, two girls, two boys, the eldest a boy 10 years old. These children are now orphans. Besides his four children he is survived by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at Enterprise Enter-prise Sunday, May 29, and were largely attended, many people being presenc from Santa Clara and other places. Bishop Jos. A. Terry presided. Speakers Speak-ers were Elders Edw. R. Frei of Santa, Clara, Emil Barlocker, William Lund and Bp. Terry. Invocation was by Elder Frank Winsor; benediction by Elder Lewis ' Bastian. Singing was furnished by the ward choir, and a violin solo was given by William Staheli. Short services were also held at the cemetery. |
