Show Dutch John Donna Coliett, 889-3387 Residents visit college daughter Mr. and Mrs. Sid Bru went to Cedar City Ci-ty Monday to get their daughter Kirstien who is attending Southern State University. Univer-sity. She will spend the week here with her family and return to her studies Monday. Doris and Klizabeth Kiddy are enjoying enjoy-ing their spring break from Utah State here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Kiddy. Also visiting at the Kiddy home this weekend was Tom Rock of Roosevelt. Over 25 4-H members and their leaders, Harriet Dickerson and Debbie Koran, met at the conference hall Thursday Thurs-day evening for their monthly meeting. After which, they enjoyed square dancing danc-ing instructed by Jim and Jean Peterson. Refreshments were served by their leaders. Mr. and Mrs. Herald Egbert and month old son Conner of Richmond enjoyed en-joyed several days here this week with the Carl Collett family and friends. Guests at the David Foran home this week were David's sister Rita and her fiance Barry Laucke of Jackson, Wyo. They came down here to do mountain climbing, but ended up cross-country skiing. Randy and Connie O'Hara and daughter are back home in Dutch John after spending the past three months in Salt Lake and Payson where Randy has been attending the Police Academy. He is part-time deputy for Daggett County. Guy Collett, who is a freshman at Utah State, is spending his spring break with the Carl Collett family. Terell and Sheryl Collett spent last weekend in Spanish Fork with the Jay Cornabys. They also went to Salt Lake on business. Dixie Skahland and family visited in Logan thjs past weekend with her husband hus-band Lee who 'is spending two weeks at Utah State taking schooling. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hillyard, and Mrs. Norma Skahland. Thurza and Ersel Sprouse are in Salt Lake where Ersel is receiving medical attention for his eyes. Wanda Collett and children went to Rangely, Colo. Kriday, where they visited Wanda's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wardell and a brother Layne. The Dutch John Damsels entertained their husbands at a progressive supper. Kriday, March 11. Thirty-five guests enjoyed en-joyed a delightful evening going from house to house. Milburn (Junior) Hatch has spent the past week at the Ashley Medical Center receiving medical attention. Chuck Baxter, Paul Backland and Fred Bruun have just completed a ten-week ten-week EMT course given in Manila and Green River. Ron Cowden, former D.J. resident and friends John and Rick of Roy, were weekend guests at the Carl Ray Collett home. , Everyone is invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Dutch John LDS Ward Chapel to be held March 26 at 1 p.m. The new site is across the street west of the old hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Gale of Midway were visitors at the Carl Collett home Saturday. They came to Manila to give the EMT tests. |
