Show USU workshop July 26-30 Utah State University Education Center announces a class in the development of materials and methods for gifted children. The class will be taught by the nationally known expert in gifted and talented education, Dr. Jay Monson. Dr. Monson is professor of elementary education at Utah State University and president of the State School Board. The class is designed to help teachers devise strategies for the teaching and also to develop materials needed for the gifted and talented. This class is also part of the sequence for obtaining the endorsement for teaching, elementary or secondary, can use this class. Also the class can be used for those in the masters degree or administration supervisory programs. The class will begin at 8 a.m. on July 26 at Union High School and will be completed by July 30.
