Show Voice of B Dicdni Northern Thursday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, there will be a Social Security representative at the Golden Age Center to answer any questions you may have on your Social security. Blood. Pressure Clinic, held also at the Golden age Center Monday, November the 26, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bingo lovers! Bingo is played every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30. If you would like to come and are without transportation, tran-sportation, call 789-2169. A car will come and pick you up and take you home. Pool is played Monday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ladies pool, Thursday afternoons. Dinners at the Golden Age Center every Monday starting at 12:30. Every Wednesday at the Vernal Junior High school, dinners are also prepared, held at 1 p.m. Bingo winner for the week of Oct. the 27 was Alice Mott, with seven games. Coming in second was Rosalie Burton with six games. Winner for the month of October was also Alice Mott, with 16 games. Second was Elvira Slaugh with .14 games. Coming in third with 13 games for the month was Rosalie Burton. The crowd of 72 Senior Citizens, enjoyed the dinner at the Vernal Junior High School, Wednesday, October 31. They were entertained by the Girls Chorus, from the Junior High. We would like to thank them for taking time out of their schedule to perform for us. The chicken pot pie dinner, at the Golden Age Center, Monday November 5th, was enjoyed by all 135 attending. Next Monday, November 12, we will be having our Thanksgiving dinner, with turkey, potatoes and gravy, corn, salads; hot rolls, pumpkin pie and ice cream. DON'T MISS THIS DINNER. A large crowd attended the Friday night dance, which was our Halloween dance. Everyone ' enjoyed the Halloween treats of punch and donuts. The anniversary waltz was played for Don and Lola Aguilar. Welcome back Ivan Jacobson. We sure missed you. We hope to hear you play the polka soon. We appreciate you bringing guests with you from Dinosaur, We are having many of our dancers back after the fall harvest. Last week we all signed a get-well get-well card for Lillian Elder. She was in the LDS Hospital. She is feeling much better at this time and will be back to the dances soon. Happy birthday this week to Ruby Workman, Nov. 11; Ida Oaks, Nov. 13. Also happy birthday to anyone we may have missed on our birthday calendar. |
