| Show A Youre You're in the jail jailhouse house now By Lorn Yes Sir youre you're in the jailhouse now is the best description and the theme which fit most everyone who attended the CB Club Fall FaIl party Saturday night Mercy sakes it seemed like everybody spent at least some sometime sometime sometime time in the jail sometime during the evening Thanks to the efforts of a few everything was organized and there were definitely lots of things going on you un uno un- un Prizes galore Oh my rny- myya ya cant can't believe how the local businesses supported the club by donating prizes Twenty-seven Twenty in all donated some kind of a worthwhile prize These prizes helped to tomake tomake tomake make up up p the total of 42 childrens children's prizes and 50 adult v which were drawn for and given away during the evening MOl Many ny conversations took look place One which I overheard event wen ent t so something like this Well Nell sakes there mercy Hummer Bummer ya look spiffy tonight What do ya think of the ding of a party Oh mercy sakes I wish that I had won one of those super prizes Yes Sir that main prize radio what Hot Wire won was rea really ily nice Ya got that right for sure and wouldn't ya know that meter went to that character from Denver what bought a single ticket from us the day of the party Yes Sir now aint that the way it goes Oh well welI I hope that Dorothy Anderson has a radio to hook up to that fine antenna she won I Ya Va know some of those other prizes were almost asgood as asgood asgood good ya understand Oh mercy sakes ya got that right for sure I hope that the local merchants know how much we appreciate their support They done good ya understand un Yes sir say how about ole Blue Boy selling tickets and Hot Wire selling 50 50 lie He must have had t his s name on all of them to win that main prize ya see And how about that beer- beer drinking contest Did ya ever eversee eversee eversee see anything as funny as grown grow n men on them baby bottles Well WeIl mercy sakes looks like I just got arrested for t talking to you you got Ou got to go to jail I See ya ONCE SC AGAIN I thanks to the merchants and to the officers of the club for their support and for the work they do to make the club run successfully Since we are going into the winter season now and some folks are looking for something to do they might consider dropping down to the Sprouse Reitz Heitz parking lot at Saturday night to join in on the Skunk Hunt Everyone is welcome Well Ive I've about used up my space for this week so Ill I'll ha hack k on fin nut flut of it for now and be 7 10 10 Li til next week e 01 We are all insane anyway Note the mountain climbers climber Mark Twain l L 1 |
