Show Grand Ball. A grand ball is to be given in Providence Hall on Friday evening, Jan., 21st. The committee of arrangements are B.F. Cummings, Jr., J.T. Hammond, J.E. Carlisle, C.D. W. Fulmer and R.E. Hatch. It promises to be one of the most elegant and enjoyable affairs of the season. The company will [unreadable] strictly select the dancers will all be provided with programmes, and Mr. Henry Bullock will provide an elegant supper for the company. The grand promenade will take place at 8 o'clock, sets will be called at the sound of the bugle, and the Millville Band will furnish the music. Those who receive invitations to this ball may congratulate themselves on the prospect of participating in a most thoroughly enjoyable affair. The tickets are placed at one dollar. |
