The occas-ion celebrated Mrs. Albert Ray's birthday anniversary. Newton Woodruff of Smith-vill- e is spending the winter with Mr. and Mrs. Eldon G. Johnson and family. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Davis of Midvale visited last Friday ev-ening with Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Goodwin and son Ben-ny of Salt Lake City. Copperton Birthday club met at the home of Mrs. Frank Fin-na- s on Thursday of last week. A lovely luncheon was served after which bridge was played. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. W.D. S. Brown, Mis. Helen Sullenger, Mrs. Howard Hausknecht and Mrs. Peter Smflh. A lovely birthday party was given Tuesday, February 13, in honor of Lorrie Jacobsen on his seventh birthday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman T. Jacob-se- n. Games were played with prizes going to Alton Wright and Sandra Jacobsen. Other were guests David Anderson, Philip Kastelic, Michael Kampros, Jim-my McCormick, Joe Moore, Bar-ry Osoro, Lynn Stoker, Jack STUDY GUILD The Copperton Study Guild met Monday evening, Feb. 12th, at the home of Mrs. Bessie Dahl-stro- m with Mrs. Vienna ,lsbell as cohostess. A business meeting was held by Mrs. Neva Jensen, president. A gift of $35 to the Civic Center in Bingham was approved by the members. Mrs. Agnes Steele was guest speaker and reviewed the book "Son of a Hundred Kings" by Castain. Delicious refreshments were ser-ved to twenty-si- x members. Next meeting of the Guild will be held on Monday, February 26 at the home of Mrs. Nona Carri-ga- n with Mrs. Norene Smernoff as cohostess.
