Babcock 3rd and 4lh Grade League In the third and fourth grade league Copperton Hawks made it three in a row over the Flying Tigers from Bingham by defeating defeat-ing them -18 to 13. Led bjrmtte Jerry Stillman who scored a total- of 10 points, the Hawks pulled pull-ed away from the Tigers in the last quarter after trailing 11 to 12 at the end of the third quarter. quar-ter. Gary Colyar accounted for seven points and Markovich I to complete the scoring for the Hawks. Joe Robertson led the Tigers with 6 points followed by Dan Montoya with four and Ruben Ru-ben Gallegos with three. Fifth and Sixth Grade The Hotshots kept (heir place at the top with a hard earned victory vic-tory over he Cadets. Playing without their player coach, Tom Lovat, the score was fairly even at half time, with the Hotshots leading 4 to 2. In the second half Lefty Strand led his team to victory uy scoring 7 points. The final score was 15 to 4. Dallas Hakanson scored the Cadets only 4 points. Copperfield Pirates remained in second place in the league by upsetting Copperton Eagles 31 to 13. Again it was steady Joe "King Costello who led his team by scoring a total of 17 points. R. Gonzales, Dick Kubota, Boyd Whetsel, and Aguayo scored points for the Pirates.
