'days with Mr. and Mrs. George Massa and family. Mrs. Dorothy Massey and son Jimmy of Murray are spending a few days with Mis. Millie Ba-lich and family. Mrs. Rose Yengich spent a week visiting her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kosovich and fa-mily of Bingham. Milan SmiTanich, son of Mrs. Milka Smilanich, who was re-cently drafted into the army, is at present stationed at Ft. Lewis, Wash. Milan is a second son of Mrs. Smilanich to leave for the armed forces. Mr. and Mrs. George Piedmont left last week for Shoshone, Wyo. where Mr. Piedmont is to report to work after spending a three weeks' visit here. Pete Massa, son of 'Mr. and Mrs. George Massa, left Tuesday for Pueblo, Colo. The Queen Esther girls of the Community House prepared and served a waffle supper at their regular meeting Wednesday, Feb ruary 7. Sunday morning. On Friday afternoon they attended the funeral of Chris B rod crick. Lucille Pazell was a week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Pino in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mary Pazell visited Wed-nesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bodine and son of Salt Lake City. Dorothy Chanak was a week end guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Chanak. A waffle dinner was enjoyed Lv Oka Chanak, Lucille Pazell aiid Kathleen King at the Key-sr.- w home Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. George Conish and daughter Carol Ann of San-dy were visitors of Mrs. Mary Pazell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Predovich and family Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Osoro of Bingham are spending a few dads enjoyed several short mov-ies, then dads were challenged to a lively ball game in the gym. It was an evening of great de-light to all who attended. Already the boys are looking forward to next year when they can again entertain their dads. o received the outstanding scout of the year award at the scout ban-quet, also received recognition for this honor. Other scouts m attendance were: George Balich, Raymond Garamendi, Eugene Hawkins, Jerry King, Ira Moss Jr., Junior Pechina and Joe a. The Scouts and Cubs also had parts in the service which was a high point for the boys and their parents. Miss Ada Duhigg spoke briefly on the three-poi- pro-gram of scouting as contained in the oath and how the Commu-nity House helps the boys live up to this standard by backing it with the same high goals. Annual Pancake Supper Almost a complete group of Scouts and Cubs and many dads and scoutcrs assembled at the Community House gym for their annual pancake supper Tuesday evening, February 13. After a hearty meal served by the Queen Esther girls, the boys and their COMMUNITY HOUSE BOY SCOUT PROGRAM Over thirty Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts took part in the spe-cial Scout program at the even-ing church service at the Com-munity House Sunday, February 11. Among the Cubs to be re-ceived as Bob Cats were: Henry Arriz, George Begay, Jimmy Ixppz, Itay Lukich, Alexander Martinez, Isadore Martinez, Joe Martinez, Nachio Ortego, Joe and Tommy Yengich. These boys received their scarfs which were tied about their shoulders by their mothers or fathers, and their pins which they will proudly wear. The second group of Cubs re-ceived their Wolf pins. They in-clude Larry Osoro, Ray Rubal-cav- a. Victor Scorzato, Spencer Smith, Vincent Castaneda, and Harold Vigil. Among the Bear Cubs were: Eddie Arriz and Lar-ry Rakich. The oldest group of Cubs, some of whom are also working into the Tenderfoot group include: Dennis Anno, Douglas Beck, Hal Bullock, Lee Eresuma, Eddie Garamendi, Robert King, Jack Lopez and Joey Rakich. Among this group who received their tenderfoot badge were: Dennis Anno, Douglas Beck, Eddie Gar-amendi, Robert King, Jack Lo-pez and Joey Rakich. These boys were presented their badges by SeouteV Harry Smith. Two other scouts received special honors. George Massa was presented two merit badges, one for woodwork and the oilier for metal work.
